On the album-opening lead single “Body,” Jacklin proves the power of that approach, turning out a mesmerizing vocal performance even as she slips into the slightest murmur. A starkly composed portrait of a breakup, the song bears an often-bracing intimacy, a sense that you’re right in the room with Jacklin as she lays her heart out.

The Stranger album sold very well in Central Fla. & the Southeast & got loads of airplay on major rock stations in Florida like WDIZ in Orlando, but it wasnt enough to keep CBS interested. Stranger did release a few more albums in the following years /5(17).

Talking to Strangers by Anne Cassidy. It was a good story but a pretty messed up one. It's my first book of the author. I liked the plot and as it was a short book it was to the point and not that detailed but it was gripping. The children in it were much matured for their actual age. The ending was not what I expected or even guessed, it was a /5(16).

The so-called “White Album” was innovative; the first LP cover to come out with no picture! It was creativity to the nth degree, man! Without it, AC/DC’s “Back In Black”, for example.
